Restaurant Creates New Pizza Bagel Cupcake

Bagel Me!, First Class Pizza and The Sugar Me Bakery, three concepts in one location, and challenged with branding these concepts individually and collectively decided to join forces to create a new menu item. Initially the three concepts did not have a meeting of the minds. Each one had their own vision as to what this new menu item would include while struggling with creating one item out of three concepts.

Finally, late one afternoon while one of them was eating a pizza bagel, a bagel with pizza toppings, someone suggested creating a pizza made out of bagel bread. Everyone quickly agreed that was a great idea but quickly struggled with how to tie the bakery into the pizza bagel. Fortunately, though, someone was also eating a Vanilla Buttercream cupcake and the idea came about to spread the Buttercream across the pizza shaped bagel.

To create the finished product, the bakers took the bagel dough, shaped it into a pizza and put it into the pizza oven. Once it cooled the Buttercream frosting was spread across the pizza bagel. The result can only be described as the most interesting pizza bagel cupcake ever.
